The Mathematics Department at Stony Brook University expects to have positions available with a starting date of September 2010. We anticipate appointing tenured and/or tenure-track faculty members, and three Simons Instructors (a three-year post doctoral appointment with an annual salary of approximately $70,000, with an annual supplement of $7000 for scientific travel, inviting visitors and other research related expenses). There is also a possibility of appointing a visiting assistant professors.
